Victoria Hirst Sweeney
Victoria Hirst Sweeney, 25, of Salisbury Twp, died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Hershey Medical Center. She was the wife of Benjamin Michael Sweeney, to whom she was married to on October 27, 2007. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Frank J. III and Donna M. (Vetovitz) Hirst of Nazareth. She was a 2004 graduate of Nazareth Area High School and captain of the varsity basketball cheering squad and a member of the basketball and football cheering squads for five years. In 2010, she graduated from Cedar Crest College with a Bachelors degree in criminal justice. She worked for the security department of Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom, Allentown. She received her black belt in karate, which she also taught, along with cardio kick boxing and womens self defense at Nazareth Karate Academy. Services: Memorial Mass, 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 16, 2011 at St. Pauls R.C. Church, 2nd and Susquehanna Sts., Allentown. Calling 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at church. Burial to follow at St. Marks Cemetery, Allentown. There will be a celebration of life at the Fearless Fire Company following the service.
