A 23-year old Stockertown man who allegedly stabbed, choked and used a pellet gun on his roommate was arrested Monday night by Pennsylvania State Police and sent to Northampton County Prison.
Police say Christopher David Neve, of the 100 block of Main Street, entered the apartment he shares with 23-year-old Nicole Naska early Monday morning and shot her four times with a rifle-style pellet gun. He then trapped her in the bedroom and, police say, refused to let her out.
When Naska did escape, Neve followed her into the bathroom and cut her cheek, lip and knee with a large hunting knife, police say. She suffered a 6-inch cut to her knee.
Naska then fled to the bedroom where Neve allegedly pushed her up against a dresser and choked her. He then threw her onto the bed and bounced up and down on her stomach using his body weight, police say.
Naska was able to leave the home after Neve fell asleep. State police did not release information on her condition or her relation to Neve.
State police apprehended Neve late last night and he was sent to Northampton County Prison.
Neve is being charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of simple assault, four counts of making terroristic threats, two counts of possessing an instrument of crime with intent, and one count each of unlawful restraint and recklessly endangering another person.
Neve will appear before District Judge John Capobianco for a preliminary hearing set for Jan. 5.
