•Another big week of ratings for the NFL. NBC’s Sunday Night Football telecast of the Giants and Cowboys was the number one rated show of the week with an audience of 24.5 million viewers. NFL action was also the number rated program in 29 of the 32 NFL markets.
•NBA analyst Jeff Van Gundy is getting prepared to call a women’s college basketball game this week. He will join Dave O’Brien, Doris Burke, and Rebecca Lobo for the call of #1 Baylor hosting #2 Connecticut. The game will air on ESPN Sunday night, December 18th at 8:30p.m. ET.
•MLB Network will be telecasting the announcement of the 2011 winners of the Greatness in Baseball Yearly (GIBBY) Awards this Friday, December 16th at 9:00p.m. ET. Media, front-office personnel, former MLB players and online fan balloting at MLB.com helped determine the winners in 19 categories.
