With the end of the NBA lockout near, the league has formally announced the schedule of action on opening day, Christmas, December 25th.
The opening game of the season will tip-off at 12:00p.m. ET with the Boston Celtics traveling to New York to take on the Knicks. This game will be telecast on TNT.
ABC and ESPN will then take over with four more games the remainder of the day. ABC will have coverage of the Miami Heat at the Dallas Mavericks beginning at 2:30p.m. ET followed by the Chicago Bulls at Los Angeles Lakers at 5:00p.m. ET. ESPN takes over for the Orlando Magic at Oklahoma City Thunder at 8:00p.m. ET followed by the Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors at 10:30p.m. ET.
