The Moravian College women's basketball team visited patients at Lehigh Valley-Muhlenberg Hospital in Bethlehem on Wednesday.
The group started in the pediatric oncology unit and spent time with several children receiving chemotherapy. The team went to several other units and sang Christmas Carols for the patients.
"The visit made each one of us realize how kindness, laughter, singing and giving our time far outweigh anything else we thought to be important," coach Mary Beth Spirk said. "The few hours we spent at the hospital reminded all of us what truly is the meaning of giving and receiving."
