Lauren Smedley of Lafayette and Genna Pepe of Lehigh named to All-Mid-Atlantic women's soccer team

Junior goalkeeper Lauren Smedley of Lafayette College and senior defender Genna Pepe of Lehigh University were among seven players from Patriot League women's soccer named to the All-Mid-Atlantic team as announced by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Smedley was the only Patriot League representative named to the first team. Pepe made the second team along with Kim An of Army, Jilian Kinger of Colgate and Ashlyn Soellner of Navy. Molly McGuigan of Army and Kate Herren of Navy were selected to the third team.

Smedley and Pepe each made first team all-league. Smedley was voted Goalkeeper of the Year by the head coaches after playing every minute of the season. Pepe appeared in 17 games and scored two goals.
