IndyCar Series to return to Baltimore in 2012

FROM KEITH GROLLER

Life will go on for the IZOD IndyCar Series even without Danica Patrick.

Sadly, it will go on without Dan Wheldon as well. His death at Las Vegas in the final race of the 2011 season was one of the top sports stories of the year. It was not the way the IndyCar series wanted to gain attention, that's for sure.

Maybe one day the series, featuring Nazareth's Marco Andretti, will return to Pocono, but for now the closest venue to the Lehigh Valley for the series is Baltimore. The series returns there for a second race on Labor Day weekend in 2012.
