Based on the updated standings from the Allentown High School Summer League, you'd have to think that Allen could be the team to beat in this weekend's tourney.
With Jalen Cannon and Branden Harrington leading the way, Allen may have the best chance of hanging around the longest among the locals.
They open play at 7:30 Thursday night against Hatboro-Horsham.
Also curious to see how Central Catholic, under new coach Rich Fatzinger, fares against former Whitehall star Tony Medina's Faith Christian team from Florida. That matchup is set for 8:30 on Thursday night.
Here are the latest standings:
Allen 10 - 0
Freedom 8 - 2
Becahi 7 - 3
Emmaus 7 - 3
Liberty 7 - 3
Faith Christian 6 - 3
Bangor 6 - 4
Dieruff 6 - 4
Nazareth 6 - 4

CCHS # 2 4 - 6
Pleasant Valley 4 - 6
