Firefighters are battling a fire at 419 and 421 E. Bank St. in Nazareth early this afternoon.
They were called to the blaze at the half-double building shortly before 11:30 this morning.
Residents said everyone who inside the homes was able to escape safely. There was no immediate word on a cause.
About 20 firefighters concentrated their efforts on the rear of the building as smoke came from broken windows on the second and third floors.
