FROM KEITH GROLLER
Notre Dame quickly rolled to an 18-2 lead and never looked back in posting an 82-71 win over Catasauqua for the District 11 2A boys basketball title on Saturday at Freedom.
It was Notre Dame's third win over Catty in a title game. The Crusaders beat the Roughies last year in the district final and two weeks ago for the Colonial League championship.
Catty finished 16-10, while Notre Dame -- now on a 13-game win streak -- will face Delaware Valley Charter from District 12 in the first round of the state tournament on Saturday.
