This was originally reported back in January when NBC and ESPN were talking about trading the rights to the first day of the 2014 Ryder Cup in exchange for Michelle Beadle. That’s right. As reported by Geoff Shackelford, Beadle was the final piece of the puzzle. So NBC got the first day of this year’s Ryder Cup which will be aired on Golf Channel and Beadle who was taken off the air at NBCSN last September was sent back to ESPN. And if you know your sports media history, this is not the first trade between NBC and ESPN.
