Sacred Heart advances in CYO Boys Grade School state tournament

Since I wrote about this team earlier in the week, I thought I'd follow up with some good news.

Sacred Heart Regional School of Allentown defeated Seven Sorrows School of Harrisburg 52-35 on Friday afternoon with Shayquelle Dezoni scoring 27 of the team's points --- more than half of Sacred Heart's total. Will Melson also keyed the offense with several assists.

Sacred Heart (17-1) plays winner of the Philadelphia/Scranton at 1:45 p.m. today in the state semifinals at Chestnut Hill College near Philadelphia

The team is coached by former Dieruff and Central Catholic assistant Joe Jarjous.
