A quarter-mile section of Nazareth Pike is shutting down until about 4 a.m. Thursday to give a repair crew time to replace a utility pole that was hit by a car Wednesday afternoon.

Police dispatchers said late Wednesday that the broken pole and affected wires at 677 Nazareth Pike would be replaced and repaired between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 4 a.m.
