Vegas report: Denver wasn't the only loser on Sunday

http://blogs.mcall.com/groller/

FROM KEITH GROLLER

A record amount of money was wagered on Sunday in Las Vegas, and it looks like the bettors were as disappointed as Denver and its fans.
The report from RJ Bell of Pregame.com:
Biggest Bet Super Bowl EVER!
A record $119.4 Million WAS wagered in Nevada alone.
(that’s over $20 million more than the previous record)
Worst day for bettors in Super Bowl history!
A RECORD $19.7 million was lost by bettors in Nevada alone.

Experts estimate that Nevada accounts for only 1% of the of the total amount bet worldwide on the Super Bowl.

This is the 24th year Nevada has kept separate Super Bowl accounting:
During that time, Vegas has won money (in net) 22 years, with bettors winning money ONLY TWICE.
If Seattle played a rematch against Denver on a neutral field NEXT week,
the Vegas consensus opinion is Seattle would be favored by 3.5 points over Denver
9% chance Peyton Manning RETIRES before next season (If yes, $100 wins $1000 at sportsbook.ag)

2015 Super Bowl spread (via LVH):
NFC favored by 3 points over AFC
