Tuesday night's MVC boys basketball recaps, plus updated standings

There is a "Big Three" in Mountain Valley Conference boys basketball this year. That big three is -- and has been all year --  Stroudsburg, Pocono Mountain West and East Stroudsburg North. They kept rolling on Tuesday night with the end of the regular season and the league tournament now just a few days away -- hopefully. Lehighton and East Stroudsburg South are still fighting for the fourth spot in the league tournament.

Tuesday night's recaps:

Pleasant Valley 56, Pocono Mountain East 43 -- The Cardinals actually led 23-22 at halftime.

Stroudsburg 64, ES South 51 -- Jacob Battle scored 22 and Danny Cuevas added 17 as Mounties marched on.

Pocono Mt. West 85, Lehighton 48 -- Joe Wiggins continues to dazzle. He had 25 in this blowout.

ES North 74, Notre Dame-ES 45 -- Malique John and Isaiah Battle had 18 apiece as the Timberwolves stepped outside the league.
