Fronted by decorated short track speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno, NBC airs Winter Gold: NBC’s First Look at the Sochi Olympics Broadcast tonight at 8 ET/PT.
This one-hour special will go behind-the-scenes of NBC’s comprehensive broadcast of the Olympics in Sochi, a warm water port city in Russia that averages 50 degrees in February and cost over $50 billion to build.
NBC Olympics correspondent Mary Carillo will also take part in the special. This kicks off two Olympic primetime specials that will air on consecutive nights on the Peacock.
