Liberty has been wrestling awfully well for an awfully long time. The Hurricanes' defeat of Easton in the District 11 duals gave the program 850 career wins -- only the fourth PIAA team to reach that number. Easton is one of the others along with Canon-McMillan and Waynesburg from District 7.
The Hurricanes should take pride in that win but also some satisfaction from a pair of tough losses to Parkland. Liberty may have fallen short in both but it was not through lack of intensity or effort. If District 11 gave out a most-improved team award, Liberty would walk away with it.
