Scratch one hoodoo off Parkland High School's wrestling list.
The Trojans avenged a series of bitter defeats to Easton Area High School with a 42-17 triumph in a disappointingly empty gym at Parkland tonight in a Lehigh Valley Conference wrestling match, the opening dual meet of the season for both teams.
Easton had defeated the Trojans in three tight matches times last season: 30-27 in the dual, 28-26 in the District 11 Class AAA Duals and 30-25 in Hershey in the PIAA state duals consolation semifinal.
