Here's a list of local places to take the kids between now through New Year's.
- After being extra careful in their finest Christmas clothes, let the kids get messy and creative with a trip to the Crayola Experience in Easton.
- Still want to hang on to that Christmas spirit? Go for a horse-drawn carriage ride through Bethlehem. With any luck, you'll catch a few snowflakes on your tongue.
- Don't stop learning - head to the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown for their Tech City exhibition.
- Make some returns and then let the kids get crafty at Color Me Mine Pottery Studio in the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley.
- Create some Pennsylvania Dutch holiday keepsakes at the Holiday Scherenschnitte at the Kemerer Museum in Bethlehem.
- Check out the Colonial exhibits on display at the Red Mill Museum Village inClinton.
- Check out the Lehigh Valley's role in American history at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum.
- Need to get out of the house at night? Try a Bethlehem by Night bus tour. Stop by the Moravian Book Shop for cupcakes, candy and cocoa.
- Take the out-of-towners to see the Rise and Fall of Bethlehem Steel in a tour at the SteelStacks campus. Then head inside to catch a flick and a snack at the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas.
- Get the adrenaline going with an indoor go-kart race at Lehigh Valley Grand Prix.
- Lace up and take the kids ice skating.
