Drexel University's Franco Ferraina of Nazareth Area High School hasn't had the most success since becoming a Dragon. However, all that changed for the redshirt sophomore this weekend at the 81st annual Wilkes Open at Wilkes University's Marts Center. Ferraina went back to his championship days as a Blue Eagle at the Wilkes Open by claiming the 133-pound title with a 2-0 decision over Buffalo recruit Jason Estevez in the final. Ferraina was untested en route to the final, claiming a fall in the first round followed by a pair of major decisions in the quarterfinals and semifinals. The decision over Estevez capped off a successful day for the former District 11 Class AAA champion.
