FROM MORNING CALL
After losing to Parkland a week ago, Nazareth girls basketball coach Rich Bickert spoke of his team's need to find more scoring.
The return of the Blue Eagles' leading ballhandler Friday night helped their offense find the rhythm it lacked in the season's first two weeks.
Junior guard Kassie Behler did not play at peak level in her season debut, but her presence and passing paid immediate dividends. She handed out four assists in a 22-point first quarter as Nazareth jumped on Northampton en route to a 70-47 win in a Lehigh Valley Conference North Division clash.
Behler added five points in her first game action since offseason shoulder surgery. With Behler providing another threat in Nazareth's offense, several of her teammates benefited.
