FROM MORNING CALL
When the public address announcer read off Alyssa Mack's point total, she looked around in surprise.
Efficient shooting left her with a number she found hard to fathom.
Mack poured in a game-high 25 points as the Central Catholic girls rolled to a 58-33 win over defending Lehigh Valley Conference and District 11 Class 4A champion Nazareth in a Yasso-Rothrock Christmas City Classic basketball game Saturday afternoon. The Central Catholic boys started the afternoon at Liberty High School with an even easier win over Nazareth, cruising to a 64-43 victory behind a 27-point, seven-assist, six-rebound day from Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman.
