American Legion Post 16 Slatington
will salute veterans at 10:30 a.m. today at United Presbyterian Church,
6750 Route 873, Slatington. Legionnaires, auxiliary and Sons of
American Legion should meet at the post home at 10 a.m. Dennis Ziegler,
president, Veterans Day
services; George Burke, commander; Marcy Knappenberger, president
auxiliary; and Garry Jacoby, commander, Sons of American Legion, will be
in charge.
Lehigh Valley 23rd annual Marine Corps Birthday Ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. today at the Marine Corps Monument, Cedar Beach, 24th and Hamilton streets, Allentown.
