Caitlin Klobosits, Mansfield

Caitlin “Cat” Klobosits said she couldn’t ask for a better senior year.

The lefthanded pitcher from Whitehall is in her last year at Mansfield University and has a 10-4 record with a 1.83 ERA with 105 strikeouts in 92 innings. She had a no-hitter on March 3 against Brevard College and has had four other games in which she allowed three hits or less. She has also had four games in which she struck out 10 or more.

“I feel like I have more confidence in myself,” she said. “I feel stronger and I know I can compete. My first three years here were pretty good, but having that experience and knowing what I need to do has really helped.”
