Those who remember the Philadelphia Force fondly will like this.
Professional women's fastpitch softball is coming back to Allentown, but not to Patriots or Bicentennial Park.
It's coming back to Allentown for back-to-back nights in June.
The New York/New Jersey Comets, a new team in the National Pro Fastpitch league will be playing games all over the region, including the Lehigh Valley.

NY/NJ Comets Announce Game Dates in Lehigh Valley
Bridgewater, NJ – April 1, 2013 – The New York/New Jersey Comets have announced two home games to be played at Coca-Cola Park, home of The Lehigh Valley IronPigs, in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The games will be played on Wednesday, June 19th, and Thursday, June 20th, at 7:00 PM against the Akron Racers.
Michael Neuwirth, Owner/General Manager for the Comets, said: “We are thrilled to be bringing Professional Softball to the Lehigh Valley Area for the first time this summer. We are very much looking forward to connecting with fans at the stadium and hope that this will be a great opportunity for the Comets to solidify a presence in the region."
The Comets will begin their first season with eight players from the former Carolina Diamonds, including NPF 2011 Wilson Defensive Player of the Year, Bianca Mejia, and NPF 2011 All-Star, Brittany McKinney. The Comets have also signed pitcher Taryne Mowatt, a two time Women’s College World Series champion for the Arizona Wildcats. The Comets will open their season on Thursday June 6th against the USSSA Pride.

First off I want to say terrific blog! I had a quick question which
I'd like to ask if you don't mind. I was curious to know
how you center yourself and clear your mind
prior to writing. I have had a tough time clearing my thoughts
in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first
10 to 15 minutes are wasted just trying to figure out how to begin.
