PHL17 and the Philadelphia Phillies Set Opening Day Ratings Record!
PHILADELPHIA – Tuesday, April 2, 2013 – PHL17, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, is proud to announce that last night’s 2013 Season Opener against the Atlanta Braves on PHL17 achieved a record-breaking household rating for an Opening Day regular season telecast.
In Nielsen ratings, last night’s game averaged an 11.5 household rating, which is the highest Opening Day rating in the last 17 years. The broadcast was also the number one rated program in the Philadelphia market. Throughout each quarter hour of the broadcast, an average of 339,170 homes tuned in to watch the first game of the 2013 Phillies season.
The Phillies return tomorrow night against the Atlanta Braves at 7:10 p.m. on PHL17. Immediately following the broadcast will be the Phillies Post Game Show live from SugarHouse Casino.
