PBS 39 NEWS


PBS39 Names Tim Fallon as President and CEO; Katherine Davis Santoro as Vice President of Development; and Daniel Devine as Vice President of Community Relations 


(April 15, 2013) -- Bethlehem, PA --Following today's meeting, the Board of Directors at WLVT-PBS39 announced three key staffing changes/additions.Tim Fallon, who has served as interim CEO since March 2012, has officially been named the President and Chief Operating Officer. Katherine Davis Santoro, most recently serving as Director of Leadership Gifts at Cedar Crest College, joins the staff as the Vice President of Development. Daniel Devine, former analyst relations director at LSI Corporation, is the new Vice President of Community Relations.

"This is an exciting time for PBS39 as we focus on the strategic direction of the station," said Jamie Musselman, PBS39 Board Chair. "We have great ambitions for this organization and for the people we've put into place to lead it."

Timothy S. Fallon Prior to being named to his current role, Fallon was the Project Director for PBS39 at SteelStacks.Tim was responsible for the financing, construction and philanthropic support for this legacy-creating endeavor. Previously, Fallon had been a Board member (and former Chair) of PBS39, from 1996 to 2009.

Fallon is a founding director of Team Capital Bank (PA and NJ); a founding director of Revere Bank of Laurel, MD; the CEO of Wine Gadgets, LLC; Managing Member of the Conserere Family of Funds; and a member of the Executive Committee of the Minsi Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America. Previously, Fallon was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Holiday Hair, a family-owned chain of 200 hair salons.

Fallon holds a BA in Political Science and a Masters of Administrative Science from Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Center Valley with his wife, Lesley, while their daughter, Michaela, attends Duke University. 
Katherine Davis Santoro Santoro will lead all areas of philanthropic giving and membership for the station. In addition to her work at Cedar Crest College, Santoro has served in marketing and fundraising roles at Rodale Institute, American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity. She initiated and authored a monthly philanthropy column for the Eastern PA Business Journal, which earned her a 2002 national fellowship from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
Santoro has also taught creative writing courses and has achieved years of by-lines for feature articles. She holds a BA in English and resides in Bethlehem with her husband, Richard, and two sons. 

 
Daniel Devine Devine will lead the government relations and sales efforts at PBS39 (which includes underwriting, production services sales, sponsorships, and auction). He is a veteran of the software, communications, and semiconductor industries with a track record of successfully growing businesses through roles in marketing, product management, software development, and corporate communications.

Devine has held various positions at AT&T and its spinoff companies where he led numerous successful product lines and also held roles in public and analyst relations. He also holds a patent in USB technology.

Devine earned a BS and MBA in International Business from Clarion University. He is married with three children and lives in Schnecksville.
