The pitching of Rebecca Bliss and Emily Bausher led Lehigh (27-14, 11-3 Patriot League) to a 5-0, 4-2 sweep today of Holy Cross (13-23, 7-7).
In the opener, Bliss tossed a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts as she improved to 15-6. Bausher had a pinch-hit, two-run single as Lehigh scored five times in the sixth to break a scoreless tie.
In the second game, catcher Liz Lucas smacked a three-run homer in the fifth inning to erase a 2-1 deficit. Bausher (11-6) threw a five-hitter with seven strikeouts.
