FROM THE MORNING CALL
Dave Brundage wanted to see the IronPigs play a clean game.
He's still waiting.
But even more, the IronPigs manager wanted to see his team find a way to win a game after being overmatched by Syracuse in the season's first two games.
Despite blowing one-run leads in the eighth and ninth inning — the second time without a ball hit out of the infield — Lehigh Valley presented Brundage with his first win of his IronPigs tenure, a 5-4, 11-inning victory over the Chiefs before 6,705 at Coca-Cola Park.
