Salisbury Township School Board names acting superintendent, new assistant superintendent

Beauchemin, the school district's assistant superintendent, will serve as acting superintendent through Sept. 30, by which point the school board expects to have named Robert Gross' successor. Gross, 54, of Bethlehem Township, Pa., was the superintendent until his sudden death May 30. The husband and father of two led the district since 2010. Beauchemin will earn $86 per day, in addition to her regular salary, while acting superintendent.
