Ciarrocchi celebrates 30th anniversary at CBS 3 with scholarships for journalism students
Philadelphia, March 9, 2012 — CBS 3 (KYW-TV) Anchor/Host Pat Ciarrocchi celebrated her 30th anniversary with the station CBS on Talk Philly, the station’s popular lifestyle/talk program, today with co-host Ukee Washington. Ciarrocchi announced that she is celebrating the milestone by establishing a scholarship in her name, the Ciarrocchi Broadcast Scholars, at two schools — her alma mater, Padua Academy in Wilmington, Delaware and at Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania. Ciarrocchi, a Rosemont College grad, said she wanted to provide assistance to those pursuing journalism careers. In addition to KYW-TV, Ciarrocchi, a Philadelphia area native, anchored at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Maryland.
