Easton Area High School boys basketball team beats Wissahickon in PIAA playoffs

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

The heart of a basketball team can't be measured by its shooting percentage.

It's a precious intangible that comes from within.

The Easton Area High School boys showed the heart of a champion with an outstanding defensive effort that paved the way for a 49-43 double overtime win over Wissahickon in a PIAA Class AAAA first round playoff game today at William Tennent High School.

The Red Rovers (21-7), the third seed from District 11, play District 2 runner-up Delaware Valley (21-7) in the round of 16 on Wednesday at a time and site to be determined.
