Pierced man robs G.S. Oswald Jewelry store in Nazareth

Nazareth police seek the public's help to locate the man who robbed a borough jewelry store Tuesday afternoon.

Police said a man went into G.S. Oswald Jewelry in the first block of East Center Street shortly after noon, posing as a customer. The robber struggled with an employee, who suffered minor injuries, police said. The robber made off with a substantial amount of jewelry, but no value has been determined, police said.

No weapons were displayed during the encounter. The robber was last seen heading north on Broad Street on a motorcycle.

The robber is described as white, about 28 years old, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He has a small goatee and numerous ear piercings. He was wearing large sunglasses, a dark baseball cap and a black leather jacket at the time.
