Bethlehem Catholic to meet Emmaus in Lehigh Valley Conference boys volleyball championship match

FROM THE EXPRESS TIMES

The Bethlehem Catholic High School boys volleyball team advanced to the Lehigh Valley Conference boys volleyball championship match with a 25-21, 25-13, 25-22 semifinal victory over Parkland tonight at Liberty High School's Memorial Gym.

The Golden Hawks (15-1) are the second seed and will face top-seeded Emmaus (14-0), a 25-18, 25-17, 25-22 semifinal winner over No. 4 Whitehall, in the final 6 p.m., Wednesday at Liberty. Emmaus dealt Becahi its only loss this season on April 28 in three games.

"We actually practiced before the game today because we didn't want to get ahead and then get complacent," Becahi coach Jeff Koch said. "We lost to Parkland in the LVC final last year, so this is a big step for us."
