Easton Area High School finished off an unbeaten performance at its own wrestling invitational tonight with a 58-3 thumping of North Hunterdon at the Shawnee Intermediate School gym.

The Red Rovers had defeated Xavier (Conn.) Friday night and handled Pleasant Valley 68-3 and St. Peter's (N.J.) Prep 53-20 before routing the Lions in the nightcap.

Posting pins for Easton were Peter Stanley (112), Joey Rizzolino (140), Anthony Minotti (152), Mason McIntyre (171) and Jose Rotger (189).

"Every team we wrestled had wrestlers who could challenge some of our guys," Easton coach Steve Powell said.

North Hunterdon's sole winner came at 285, where Jack Delia topped Jalal Paige 5-3 in a hard-fought and tense encounter. Delia pulled away with two third-period take downs.

Earlier in the day, the Lions walloped Woodbridge (N.J.) 52-16 and Pocono
Mountain West 50-13.
