Brian Mazone pitched five shutout innings and Dewayne Wise clubbed his fourth home run of the season as Lehigh Valley ended a three-game losing streak with a 3-1 win over Gwinnett.
Mazone pitched himself out of trouble to earn his third win of the season. After two more scoreless innings from Ryan Vogelsong, Scott Mathieson pitched the final two innings for his sixth save.
Catcher John Suomi chipped in with a pair of hits and an RBI for the IronPigs.
Lehigh Valley will attempt to salvage a split of the series against the Braves on Monday when Brandon Duckworth (1-0, 1.29 ERA) takes the mlund against Gwinnett's Todd Redmond (3-4, 5.45).
