INCIDENT

FROM ROSS NUNAMAKER

Got a note from a reader about a very disturbing incident that took place on Friday night. An individual threw a homemade bomb into a reader’s pick up truck. It exploded and did significant damage due to the chemicals in the bomb. It happened at 10:45 pm in Farmview Estates, and police were notified. The bomb was made of a caustic substance, like draino, and mixed with others and foil balls for a ‘blast’ effect. It was all enclosed in a plastic bottle, capped and thrown into the vehicle. The warning from the police is that they sometimes explode on impact, other times after several minutes, but either way should be cleaned immediately to avoid damage from the chemicals.

If you have any information, contact police, but also be careful if you find any capped, filled, bottles in or around your property.
