Not a drop of rain has fallen, but the forecast says it's coming this afternoon.
And so the first day of the eighth annual Lehigh Valley Conference Track and Field Championships has been postponed.
It was scheduled to start at 4 this afternoon at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown.
Due to expected rain and dropping temperatures later today, William Allen High School Director of Athletics Scott Cooperman says in an e-mail it's in the student-athletes' best interest to wait until Wednesday to start the competition.
Wednesday had been set as the event's second day.
So if Wednesday's weather is no better, the championship will be a one-day meet Thursday.
