Lehigh Valley IronPigs series finale against Rochester suspended due to weather

Torrential rain and heavy lightning caused the suspension of today’s Lehigh Valley IronPigs-Rochester Red Wings game in the bottom of the second inning after a 45-minute delay.

The game was scoreless, with the IronPigs’ Andy Tracy on first and two outs.

The game will be resumed as part of a doubleheader. June 29 at 6:05 p.m. at Coca-Cola Park before the regularly-scheduled game between the Red Wings and IronPigs on Rochester’s next visit. The second game on June 29 will be a seven-inning affair; the suspended game nine.
