Toomey's unique look at the area's best

I respect the opinion of Toomey Anderson, the former Parkland and Muhlenberg College standout who is now an assistant coach at Quakertown and very active in AAU ball.

After Quakertown's season ended, Toomey was at all of the big games. He knows the players, knows the game and I believe he's got the best interests of area basketball at heart.

For the second straight year, he has given me his picks for the year's best in his own imaginative way. You may not agree with all of his selections, just as I'm sure you won't agree with all of our all-area picks in a few weeks, or even my Kegger Award winners.

But it's clear Toomey put some thought and effort into it and, with his permission, I will share it with the Groller's Corner readers now. Thanks Toomey.
