The curtain has gone up on the 2010 Path to Penn State with First Round action Friday and Saturday night. It was a good start for the WPIAL as three Class AAAA, five Class AAA, seven in Class AA and three Class A teams were victorious, including all four WPIAL champions in Mount Lebanon, Chartiers Valley, North Catholic and Sewickley Academy, who will now all lace up their sneakers again in Round Two on Tuesday and Wednesday.
