PCN TO AIR PIAA FOOTBALL FINALS THIS WEEKEND

PIAA STATE FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS ON PCN

PCN is the network to watch for exclusive LIVE coverage of the PIAA football championships. The excitement begins this Thursday at 7 p.m. with a special two-hour LIVE football preview Call-In program.

Guest host for the Thursday night program will be Mike Zambelli, sports analyst for Service Electric TV2 Sports. During the two-hour special, Zambelli will be joined by a panel of sports reporters from around the state to discuss the upcoming state championships. Viewers are invited to share their thoughts and predictions about the games by dialing toll-free at 1-877-PA6-5001. Joining Zambelli at the PCN studio will be Mike White of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Jim Wills of Service Electric TV2 Sports, Tom Elling of PA Football News and MaxPreps.com and Rod Frisco of the Harrisburg Patriot-News. Encore presentations of this preview will air prior at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 18.

LIVE gridiron action begins at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18 as Bishop McCort takes on Clairton for the state “A” title. At 7:00 p.m., the battle for the “AAA” title will get underway between Selinsgrove and Manheim Central.

On Saturday, PCN continues its LIVE coverage as Lancaster Catholic and Greensburg Central Catholic vie for the “AA” title beginning at 1:00 p.m. Later at 7:00 p.m., La Salle College and State College will meet to try and capture the “AAAA” title.
