The Crusaders, with senior forwards Joe Giangiobbe and Andrew Kohler returning for head coach Pat Boyle, figure to be at the top of the league but Wilson should be there as well.
“We definitely have the potential to compete,” said senior guard Pat McCoale, who’s expected to provide scoring punch this season. “We just have to play every game hard. We have to play solid defense. We have a lot of good offensive players so scoring should come naturally.”
The Warriors also have Drew Parr, a four-year starter, Justin Berger and Leo Davidson as a trio of seniors to add veteran leadership for the Warriors.
“With the exception of Notre Dame, which I think is head and shoulders above everybody, our league could be more balanced than ever,” said Frankenfield.
Express-Times staff writer Tom Hinkel predicts Notre Dame and Wilson will finish 1-2 in the Colonial League South Division and Northern Lehigh to be top dog in the North.
