Please come out to support the Nazareth High School Girls’ Volleyball Team and former student athlete Courtney Anne Diacont at the 3rd Annual Courtney Anne Diacont Memorial Tournament .
Date : Saturday, September 20, 2014
Start Time : One Day Tournament (8:00 am start)
Courtney Anne Diacont was a student athlete at Nazareth Area School District who was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in her junior year. She continued to play volleyball through doctor visits, chemotherapy treatments and the many ups and downs that cancer brings.
Courtney fought the disease with all that she had while being an inspiration to everyone that she encountered. She was an exceptional young lady. Courtney lost her battle with cancer on March 22, 2007.
The Nazareth Area School District, Nazareth Girls’ Volleyball Booster Club and the Diacont Family wish to honor Courtney and continue her legacy. The 3rd Annual Courtney Anne Diacont Memorial Tournament will be one of many held here at Nazareth Area School District. We appreciate your support !!
