Vegas NFL playoff trends: Something's gotta give Saturday night in Philly

These are all interesting tidbits from Vegas courtesy of RJ Bell of Pregame.com, and you'll note that while some of the betting trends are not all that favorable for Philadelphia this week being that the Eagles are at home on Saturday, they're even worse for the Saints on the road.

Remember, ATS means Against The Spread:

NFL Playoffs – Top Vegas Trends

49ers on road: covered 7 straight ATS

Bengals at home: 8-0 ATS this season (only the 5th NFL team in the last 25 seasons to accomplish that)

Bengals – the road team has covered only 2 of the last 18 Cincinnati games

Bengals – Coach Lewis has never won, nor covered, a playoff game

Chiefs – Andy Reid has covered 62% of all road games in his coaching career

Colts at home: 12-4 ATS in Andrew Luck’s career

Eagles at home: covered only 6 of last 27 in Philadelphia

Eagles when favored a second straight game: 4-19 ATS

Packers - Last 35 NFL playoffs, there have been only 18 first round home underdogs (13-5 ATS)

Packers as underdogs: 21-12 ATS

Saints on road: lost 6 straight ATS

Saints – the road team has covered only 1 of 16 New Orleans games this season
