FROM KEITH GROLLER

Notre Dame continued its rise from the depths of the Colonial League with a 52-42 win over Southern Lehigh. Finally, the Crusaders have everybody intact and are looking like the team I picked to win the league back in early December.
Here's a look at all of the Colonial League action on Tuesday, followed by the updated standings:
Notre Dame 52, Wilson 42 -- Another big 25-point performance from Tannor Reed, who has kept this ND team together all year. Vincent Eze scored just four points, but was probably a factor at the defensive end against some of the bigger Spartans. ND had a 10-point halftime, let it slip to one after three and then outscored the Spartans 18-9 in the final eight minutes.
Salisbury 84, Saucon Valley 73 -- One of the highest scoring games of the season. Each team scored 49 points in the second half alone. You don't get many games with eight kids reaching double figures and three scoring 20 or more. Justin Aungst and Austin Uhl combined for 44 points for the Falcons, while Keith Mosher had 22 for Panthers.
Wilson 67, Palisades 64 -- Phil Pierfy didn't play in this one, and the Warriors had to go overtime to turn back the pesky Pirates. Tyler King and Jeff Cooper combined for 44 points for Wilson, but Jon Cintron was the hero in overtime, scoring five of his 10 points in the extra period. Devin Ramsden scored 22 for Palisades.
Northern Lehigh 61, Northwestern 47 -- The Tigers hung around in this one, but Matt Egan and Tyler Dibilio had 20 apiece for the Bulldogs, who avoided the upset and stayed in the Colonial League playoff race while also clinching a district tournament slot.
Bangor 89, Palmerton 47 -- These are the two teams at opposite ends of the Colonial League spectrum, so this result is not a surprise. Jeremy Ringland had 28 for the Slaters.
Catasauqua 50, Pen Argyl 41 -- This game was tied after three quarters. Roughies shot 20 more foul shots than the Green Knights and made enough to stay in Colonial League tournament contention.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
In the Mountain Valley Conference, Stroudsburg was the biggest winner with a 72-61 triumph over East Stroudsburg North. This one puts the Mounties in sole possession of first place in the league and makes Shawn Thornton's crew the clear frontrunner.
Stroudsburg 72, ES North 61 -- Jacob Battle made five 3-pointers in scoring 23 points and it looks like the Mounties had control throughout.
ES South 53, PM East 41 -- Andre Jackson has emerged as a force for the Cavaliers, scoring 21 in this game.
Lehighton 55, Pleasant Valley 52 -- A huge win for the unpredictable, up-and-down Indians, who were coming off a 38-point drubbing by Stroudsburg the previous night. Lehighton got terrific scoring balanced led by Anthony Rossino's 15.
