Another night of games, another night of memorable performances and some surprising results.
We're now just under a month until Valentine's Day when the league championships will be decided, and other than Central Catholic, which remains the favorite to win the LVC, it's really hard to determine who might be playing on the big night.
Here's a look back at Tuesday night's 15 LVC, MVC and Colonial League games with the standings to follow:
LEHIGH VALLEY CONFERENCE RECAPS
Whitehall 61, Dieruff 52 -- Another overtime game and another disappointing league loss for the Huskies, who have yet to win a LVC game. They still have to win six games to get into districts. It's not a lock they're going to make it, which would qualify as a huge disappointment for a talented team. Tyler Kohl and Tyshyn Harmon had four treys apiece for Dieruff, but Zephs had better balance with four guys scoring nine or more.
Easton 59, Allen 52 -- All of a sudden the Red Rovers might be the team to beat in the LVC East and Hassan Greenfield is establishing himself as a standout player. Daiyon Barnett's 26 wasn't enough for the Canaries, who evidently didn't respond well coming off the 3OT game win over Pocono Mountain West.
Freedom 61, Northampton 35 -- Senior leaders David Williams and Nigel Long combined for 37 points and the Patriots defense must have been tough, allowing just five points in the first quarter and 13 in the first half.
Becahi 53, Nazareth 48 -- Golden Hawks have climbed their way to 6-6 after starting 1-5. Justin Lenzer with a big night, scoring 22 points including five 3-pointers.
CCHS 80, Liberty 71 -- Vikings missed 19 free throws and still won. Give Hurricanes credit for battling tough without suspended Deshawn Oyeniyi. Ludwin Gonzalez and Jaevan Dobbins combined for 43 points, but CCHS prevailed behind another Muhammad Ali Abdur-Rakhman spectacular.
Parkland 62, Emmaus 55 -- This is where I was and again, I continue to marvel at the talents of the freshmen. You don't want to put too much pressure on anybody who's in ninth grade, but Sam Iorio and David Kachelries have a chance to be very special.Trojans showed me some grit, fighting back without Justin Zajko. Home crowd played a role when Parkland went on its decisive 10-0 run.

COLONIAL LEAGUE RECAPS
Southern Lehigh 59, Palmerton 50 -- Spartans trailed 27-24 at halftime, but scored 20 in the third quarter. Good scoring balance with three players in double digits. Blue Bombers' junior Mark Quinn had 18 and is averaging 18.6 over his last three games.
Saucon Valley 47, Pen Argyl 36 -- Green Knights led 20-15 at halftime, but were doubled up, 32-16 after the break. SV's Keith Mosher, who had been averaging 18.6 points per game, was held to 10.
Bangor 58, Notre Dame 47 -- Crusaders have lost six straight and at 4-9 overall and 2-5 in the league are in serious jeopardy of missing the District 11 tournament for the first time since 1995. Slaters are back in first place in Colonial North.
Palisades 40, Northwestern 38 -- Tigers led 34-26 entering the fourth quarter, but scored just four in the final stanza.
Wilson 63, Northern Lehigh 35 -- Shocker of the night in my opinion, not that Wilson won, but by 28? Really? Bulldogs played without injured Josh Landsberger, but does that explain this kind of lopsided loss? Warriors, meanwhile, are back in the CL tournament hunt.
Catasauqua 47, Salisbury 45 -- Now there's no one left unbeaten in the Colonial League. It's hard to sustain energy level and intensity night in and night out with crazy schedule many teams are playing, and Falcons were coming off big win over Notre Dame. But Roughies, much like Wilson, are now back in the CL tournament race. Catty coach Eric Snyder collects win No. 299.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY CONFERENCE RECAPS
ES North 57, ES South 35 -- North's Isaiah Battle and Malique John combined for 34 points, one shy of the entire South team.
PM West 68, PM East 51 -- Joe Wiggins must not have been too tired after scoring 34 points in West's 3OT game against Allen on Monday. He scored 27 in this one and was a quality 10-for-11 at the foul line.
Stroudsburg 58, Pleasant Valley 53 -- Back and forth battle between rivals and this was one on Blue Ridge Cable. Congrats to Shawn Thornton on career win No. 300. He's had some championship teams and some tough years, but through it all he has kept the same passion and dedication required to be a good coach. Mounties made 18 of 20 at the line and got a big 26-point effort from Jacob Battle.
