In an attempt to give the Pro Bowl some more juice, the NFL has decided to make its version of the All-Star Game more like a fantasy draft rather than a game drawn down conference lines. The NHL attempted this a couple of times to limited success.
This year, the NFL will have legends Deion Sanders and Jerry Rice as captains of the two teams and they’ll draw from a pool of players selected for the Pro Bowl. Sanders and Rice will be assisted by two current NFL players and one NFL.com fantasy football champion.
