It’s never too late to learn.
That’s what pushed 49-year-old Melody Sherman, of Upper Mount Bethel Township, to complete her GED and receive her diploma after taking a 33-year break from the classroom.
"If you try hard enough, you can do it," she said. “I went in totally blind, but anyone that puts forward the effort, they can do it."
Sherman is one of 26 students who will receive a General Educational Development certificate Wednesday night at Nazareth Area High School.
