State police issue amber alert following child abduction in Carbon County

The Pennsylvania State Police issued an amber child abduction alert after a four-year-old girl was kidnapped from her home in Palmerton, Carbon County, Saturday night.

Police said Timothy Simcsuk, 25, abducted Kyleigh Simcsuk from her Delaware Avenue house, at approximately 6:30 p.m., after he assaulted the child’s caregiver.
